All Sufficient One

"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

Dear Most Loving Heavenly Father,

I stand in awe of your greatness! You are truly an amazing God! I love you and I worship you! Lord thank you so much for allowing me another chance to make amends and simplify my life to become more like you. Forgive me for my sins, whether they are in deed or thought. Bring me closer to you. Continue to bless and watch over my family today. Keep my children and my husband covered and all who are connected to me. I pray for leadership skills and a spirit of excellence for their lives. May the operate fully in the anointing that you've placed on their lives. Continue to equip Harold and I as parents to point them in the right direction. Help me as a wife, mother, daughter, teacher, and friend to be everything that you have called me to be. Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight! Lord, I thank you in advance for these and all other blessings. In Jesus' Name.

Love,

Really God?

"That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him." ~ 1 Corinthians 2:9

Dear Heavenly Father,

How I love you. How I magnify your name. You are my everything. You are the Source of my existence and I worship and adore you. Father, I write to you because my heart carries a strong desire to be closer to you, but there is something holding me back. I'm not even sure what it is, but I need to break free from it. You have gifted me with many talents, some that I have not even discovered yet, so I am asking for a spiritual cleansing that I may hear and see you more clearly. Let me not be deceived by the worldly ventures of ministry, but give me a heart for you and your people. Bring me back to you. I am longing for my children to have a right relationship with you along with my husband and I. Going to church and Bible study is not enough. God birth in me something that my entire family can take part in as we learn and speak of your goodness to share with others. I believe that your promises are true and that what you have placed in us has yet to be seen or heard. From this moment forward, allow my mind to be transformed and to focus on the things of you. It is my prayer to become more Christ-minded, so that I may delight myself in the things of you. Do it now God! In Jesus' Name.

Love,

Your Girl

Favor Ain't Fair, But it's Prevelant!

"For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. 2 Corinthians 1:20

Most Loving Father,

I thank you so much for another chance at this thing you've gifted to me called life. You reign supremely over my life and the lives of my family! I thank you so much for caring enough for us that you sent your only begotten Son to die on the cross as an atonement for our sins. God you are so amazing that words cannot evenly express my gratitude! I bless your name. Today, Lord I ask that you would forgive me for the injustices that I speak, the malfunctioning of my thoughts and the unrighteous meditations of my heart. I pray that you would sanctify me that I may be the vessel that is used to bring others to the life preserving Savior. Protect and watch over my children, my, students, my colleagues, my husband, my family and all those who are connected to me! Father, it is your promises that cause me to rest peacefully, operate effectively, and channel my thoughts and energy toward the greatness that you have for my family and I! I ask that you would navigate your presence through me so that I may be a witness for you. Engage me in your Word, anoint me with your Power and purify me with your Precious Blood. In Jesus Name.

Abundant Life

"For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." ~Matt. 12:34

Most Precious Father,

How I love you! You are the author and the finisher of my fate. I weorship you just because of who you are. Lord, I have been in transition in waiting to hear from you. I have removed myself from many situations in order to receive and hear what you have to say concerning my life. My heart desires to be nearer to you and without your presence I cannot fully exist. God, I ask that you would cleanse my heart, refine my spirit, and polish my praise. I must admit, I am not aware of what, when, or where, but I know that when I speak of your goodness, my heart rejoices! So, I ask you Father to work on my inner spiritual conflicts and allow me to flourish right where I am. Turn me away from those things that will hinder my growth. Give me the boldness and confidence that is needed to minister to your people. Lord, I seek you in every aspect of my life. I thank you for EVERYTHING concerning my life. I believe by faith that you're going to do something radical in my life! In Jesus' Name!

Love,
